Abstract

I Background: i Graves disease is an autoimmune disease caused by thyroid-stimulating hormone receptor antibodies (TSH-R-Ab), which can be stimulating (TSAb), neutral, or blocking (TBAb). Overview of Neonatal Laboratory Variables and Treatment I Discussion: i Graves disease dominated by TBAbs is rare in the spectrum of autoimmune thyroid diseases. For this reason, we believe that clinicians should consider screening for functional TSH-R-Abs before pregnancy when there is a history of autoimmune thyroid disease or a history of radioactive iodine treatment or thyroidectomy ([4]).
