Abstract
- The article examines Japanese moral philosopher Tetsuro Watsuji's discussion and rich characterization of intentionality which also refers to the capacity of conscious states to be about things. Topics covered include an analysis of his view on the social character of intentionality and the dynamics of betweenness and the relevance of his characterization of intentionality in phenomenological psychopathology.
