Impending infliximab access crisis: a case of steroid‐refractory, relapsing immunotherapy‐induced colitis responsive to infliximab.

The article describes the case of a late steroid-refractory immunotherapy-induced colitis relapse in a 65-year-old man without the precipitant of further immunotherapy. Highlights include severe colitis of the entire colon with oedema according to colonoscopy, the challenge of gaining hospital formulary or Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) approval, and PBS approval of combination immunotherapy for melanoma and renal cell carcinoma.
