Abstract

Oxfordian radiolarians from core of boreholes drilled on Vorobyovy Gory (Moscow), from the Podosinki Subformation of the Chulkovo Formation (upper Callovian–lower Oxfordian), Podmoskovnaya Formation (middle–upper Oxfordian), Kolomenskoe Series (upper Oxfordian), and Makariev Formation (upper Oxfordian–lower Kimmeridgian) are studied for the first time. The studied radiolarian assemblages belong to the southern boreal type. Foraminifers were studied alongside the radiolarians. The foraminiferal Lenticulina cultratiformis–Lenticulina pseudocrassa Zone is recognized in the middle Callovian, and the Opthalmidium strumosum–Lenticulina brestica and Lenticulina russiensis–Epistomina uhligi zones are recognized in the Oxfordian.
