Abstract: Inguinal hernia repair (IHR) is one of the most commonly performed general surgery operations. Currently, an inguinal hernia can be repaired through an open, laparoscopic, or robot-assisted approach. Herein, we detail our perioperative evaluation and management of patients with a groin hernia as well as our surgical technique for the performance of the laparoscopic transabdominal preperitoneal IHR.
