Abstract

Fundus examination revealed bilateral disc pallor with peripheral pigmentation of optic discs [Figure 1]a and [Figure 1]b. Optic disc pigmentation can occur in ocular abnormalities like optic disc hypoplasia, distended retinal vessels, iris transillumination defects, ptosis, nystagmus, and siderosis bulbi.[[1]],[[2]],[[3]],[[4]] Optic disc pigmentation after an episode of optic neuritis is rare. Optic disc pigmentation is a rare entity and ophthalmologists should rule out ocular and systemic associations.{Figure 1} Declaration of patient consent The authors certify that they have obtained all appropriate patient consent forms.
