Abstract

[Objective (The present paper aimed to clarify the different varieties of melon in Xinjiang postharvest decay of the main pathogenic fungus species.【Method (The method was the classical microorganism separation to pathogen fungi separation of Xizhoumi-17,Jinlong melon Shuijinglv melon under the condition of room temperature, combined with ITS sequence determination and diversity analysis to explore the species and community characteristics of melon postharvest pathogens fromdifferent origin.【Result】The melon postharvest rot diseases were caused by the following seven fungi : Fusarium,Penicillium,Altemaria,Aspergillus,Diplodia,Botryotinia and Rhizoctonia. The diversity a¬nalysis results demonstrated that there was rich diversity in the melon postharvest pathogen community,of which 〇Har—2 was the dominant species. There were obvious differences in postharvest fungal pathogen community diversities among there melon cultivars, and Xizhoumi-17 was the highest in Shannon diversity index(0. 91) and evenness index(0. 28 ) and richness index(6. 83) . On the contrary, the Jinlong was the lowest, respectively being 0. 44,0. 23 and 1.58 % The similarity coefficients of melon postharvest pathogens among the three cultivars, the similarity coefficient between Shuijinglv melon and Jinlong was 0. 400,while the lo^vest coefficient of community similarity witli the Xizliou- mi-17 fungi community was 0. 286.【Conclusion】 The postharvest decay of roomtemperature storage of melon disease is caused by Fuaium, and different varieties of melon from the pathogen has overlapping as well as differences. The stiady provi(ded theoretical basis for later choo-sing antisepsis processing [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
