This paper presents the results of the setup of an art exhibition-intervention carried out with the intention of raising awareness on the role played by libraries in the workplace and in the urban context. A heterogeneous group of individuals of different ages and occupations were invited to participate in a proposal. They were asked to define the notion of "Science" and to provide an object of determined dimensions to materialize their answers. Since the newspaper library is now an online tool, both the space and the magazine racks intended for serial print publications were underused. Thus, this space was remodelled by transforming the out-dated furniture into a place to display art pieces and opinions. The idea continues to be developed as the institution's travelling exhibition (EEZ-CSIC). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
