Abstract
- The Libraries of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) have initiated a process of creation of a house brand to project a solid and unified global image. The first step was the design of a logo following the UAB corporate identity manual in order to give uniformity to the brand, regardless of the dissemination channel. This task has been achieved updating the Libraries Service web, grouping the existing social networks and standardizing the documentation generated. This has contributed to a more cohesive communication and also to give coherence to the contents. The following steps will focus on the development of branding strategies in order to provide the UAB Libraries with an identity as well as winning the confidence and loyalty of the university community.
