Abstract
- This article presents a practical approach to realize demand and energy savings in large industrial plants through behind-the-meter conservation voltage reduction implementation. Requirements of a device that can implement conservation voltage reduction in harsh industrial environments are identified. Based on the requirements, a device called stacked isolated voltage optimization module is discussed. Issues concerning the design and operation of the device are explained.
