Abstract

The article present a case study of a 78-year-old farmer with a past medical history of stage IV metastatic melanoma on second-line chemotherapy. It mentions a computed tomography scan revealed massive splenomegaly, which on physical examination was palpable and visible on the left abdomen; and also mentions the e patient's postoperative course was complicated by accumulations of hemorrhagic ascites requiring percutaneous drainage.
