Abstract

Information on the fatty acids (FAs) from NL of I D. stramonium i are contradictory. Koria and Nithya observed in NL from seeds of I D. stramonium i growing in India 18 FAs, 44.63% of the sum of which were I cis i -18:1n9 (22.76%) and I trans i -18:1n9 (elaidic, 21.87%). The characteristic NL classes of these lipids were triacylglycerides (main lipid), free fatty acids (FFAs), FA esters with phytosterols and triterpenols, tocopherols, and free phytosterols and triterpenols.
