Prevalence of feline herpesvirus type 1 (FHV-1) on different cat breeds; Development of severe upper respiratory tract and occular infection in kittens infected with FHV-1; Establishment of a lifelong neural latency with periodic reactivation of the virus; Propositions regarding the mechanisms of action of FHV-1.
