Abstract

The article present the discovery of a ~1.37 Ga Granite in the Eastern Part of the Northern Margin of the North China Craton and its geological significance. Topic include the granite was collected from Huanglingzi town, west of Yitong County, Jilin Province (124°56′16″E, 43°27′46″N); and Zircons within the granite are of magmatic origin and yielded a weighted mean age of ~1.37 Ga, indicating crystallization during the Mid-Mesoproterozoic.
