Abstract
- The paper examines the socio-economic landscape of South Africa by exploring the different determinants of inequality and poverty. The paper seeks to bring to the fore how the above mentioned landscape feeds the continual plight for social security in South Africa even in the advent of new systematic revolutions such as the 4th Industrial revolution.
