Abstract
- The article reports on the claim by researchers that covid-19 survivors could experience a second illness called post-viral fatigue syndromes. Also cited are the previous occurrences of chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) or myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME) after viral infections, and the study by the team of psychiatrist Harvey Moldofsky on the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) survivors who suffered muscle weakness and sleep disorders for up to three years in early 2000s.
