Abstract
- The article discusses the guidelines for offering telemedicine during the COVID-19 pandemic in the U.S. The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) authorized waivers and modifications to lift restrictions to allow medical practitioners to offer telemedicine. Urologists have been expected to benefit from investing in telemedicine in the long term. The HHS also provided rules regarding insurance reimbursement for video visits.
