NECİP FAZIL'IN TİYATROLARINDAKİ POETİKASI.

Necip Fazıl Kısakürek who has a unique place in republican era Turkish literature is well known with his poetry and poets, but he has also produced works in the fields of theatre, short story, novel, screenplay and memoir. The genre, which Necip Fazıl considered the most important and explained as 'a zenith among the fine arts' after poetry, is theatre. Therefore he put an exceptional effort in his theatre works. Fifteen of his theatre works has been published as books. Necip Fazıl choose themes of these works from historical, social and contemporary events of his time. In Ahşap Konak, Siyah Pelerinli Adam, Yunus Emre and Püf Noktası Necip Fazıl presented his views on poet and poem and criticized the new poetry through a poet main character.
