The industrialization policy of the city of Bouake is motivated by several reasons among which we quote the proximity of the raw materials, the diversification of existing companies and the development of the city of Bouake. The solid establishment of these enterprises in the city attracted a population coming from diverse backgrounds for industrial employment. Thus, after their settlement in the city of Bouake, new behaviors were observed in the rank of these immigrants. This massive settlement of the city has led to an evolution in the number of activities and a redistribution of wage income. This has made Bouake one of the most populous cities in the Ivory Coast.
