The article focuses on the book &quot;Environmental Groups in Politics,&quot; by Philip Lowe and J. Goyder. This impressive, inter-disciplinary study of national and local environmentalist associations draws together the energetic researches during the last few years of Philip Lowe and his collaborators. Important parts of it are no longer easily accessible as published articles and the book form gives the work renewed force. It is opined that this work will clearly deserve to stand for years to come, aided by revised editions, as the standard work in the field, despite its being the initial full-length study.
