Caracterización de la literatura gris científica en la Universidad de Moa.

Environmental studies are mandatory for any mining development project and having systematized information is a guarantee to develop policies, objectives and priorities for efficient and sustainable environmental management, in this sense, the work aims to characterize the environmental information present in the scientific gray literature in the national and international context, generated at the University of Moa Dr. Antonio Núñez Jiménez, and backed by the Bibliographic Database of Thesis of the Center of Technical Scientific Information of this institution. For this, the diploma work, the master's thesis and the doctoral thesis that address the subject in the period from 1979 to 2017 were taken into account. Several indicators of interest were studied, including the most used thematic terms, geographical areas more represented, more studied natural resources, teaching departments that have contributed to these studies, years of greater productivity, link between the research carried out and research lines drawn up by the Center for Environmental Studies and the Center for Energy and Technology Studies of Advanced Moa. The most relevant results show that this center is the institution with the most research conducted in the environmental field and that the thematic environmental impact is the term most used in the processing of information, prevailing as the one of greatest interest in the investigations carried out. The results illustrate that Moa is the region with more research carried out in the environmental field. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
