Abstract
- B Background: b We evaluated accuracy and efficiency of a novel technique for precise ablation of HCC, combining a transarterial approach for intrahepatic tumour tracking and electomagnetic (EM)tracked navigation for percutaneous placement of ablation probes, in a porcine model. Intrahepatic tumour models were targeted percutaneously with a tracked ablation probe using EM navigation. B Conclusion: b This technique allows continuous intrahepatic tumour tracking and accurate and efficient targeting of liver lesions in an animal model. [Extracted from the article]
