The transport sector presents itself as a worrying area in terms of safety risk and worker performance. The inadequacy of the workload may be able to impair the achievement of the task. Therefore, the need to conduct a literature review on the topic workload on drivers. PROKNOW-C was used to select articles for portfolio formation, bibliometric analysis and systemic review. The results identify that the level of workload experienced by drivers is associated with personal factors such as age, length of service, time pressure and working conditions. The most important methodologies were NASA TLX for evaluation of the subjective workload and analysis by methods linked to biomechanics. Based on the knowledge acquired on the subject, it is sought to start a research on the topic of workload on drivers. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
