The paper presents the basic characteristics of children with CARGE syndrome, which in recent times has been one of the most common causes of congenital blindness and deafness. Clinical picture and variations related to vision and hearing status are described. Multiple congenital anomalies cause severe clinical picture in these children, so health care often takes priority over education. Socially unacceptable behavior are often a barrier to learning, establishing communication, building friendships with peers and functioning in daily life. The most effective approaches used in working with blind and deaf children, structured teaching, and establishing a routine are considered to be the most effective approaches to working with these children.
