Análise da resposta tecidual ao redor de hidrogéis injetáveis no tecido subcutâneo de ratos Wistar.

Objective: The aim of the present study was to analyze the application of the Poly hydrogel (NIPAAm-co-AAc-co-HEMAPLDLA-co-TMC) in vivo, following the surrounding tissue reactions. Methods: Implants of this polymer were injected into the subcutaneous tissue of the posterior dorsum of 21 Wistar rats. After a period of 5, 7, 10, 15, 21 and 30 days the animals were sacrificed and later histologically analyzed. Results: Absence of inflammatory reaction was verified at the implant sites, in addition to the presence of gaps in the tissue, left due to the present of the implant (which was removed due to the processing). The absence of a significant inflammatory response made it impossible to perform a statistical analysis. Conclusion: Poly hydrogel (NIPAAm-co-AAc-co-HEMAPLDLA-co-TMC) has biocompatibility and potential as a filling material; However, further studies are needed in order to understand its thermosensitivity and locate it without addition of a dye ink.
