Abstract

Relations between Turkey and Georgia is one of the most stable in South Caucasus. Good relations had began just at Georgian independance in 90's and come untill today 2019. As the topics differs in 90's and 2000's, the climate was the same. Two topics were always in the center between two countries; in economic area there are big projects like Baku-Tiflis-Ceyhan Oil Pipeline and Baku-Tiflis-Kars Railway. As good neighbourhood there is firstly visa-free, then pasaport-free entry and common usage of Batumi International Airport. Both made a commen daily life along both side of the border. Georgian relations was also a part of Turkish foreign policy as declared by AKP government; Zero problem with the neighbors. It failed in the process; so Turkey had lived problems with many neighbors. There appears Georgia as the best succeeded one and therefore as an important country for Turkey. The two countries keep the friendship even at their foreign policy turns. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
