Abstract

B Introduction: b In radical surgery for perihilar cholangiocarcinoma, lymph node dissection up to the peri pancreatic lymph nodes(LN) that include the superior surface of the pancreatic head is known as the standard treatment in Japan. We standardized the en bloc LN dissection of the region that included hepatoduodenal ligament, along the hepatic artery and the superior surface of the pancreatic head, and defined it as level 2. B Conclusion: b Although strict dissection tended to increase the frequency of pancreatic fistula, it was manageable under appropriate patient selection. [Extracted from the article]
