Abstract
- This article presents information on MegaScan Technology Inc., Hopkinton, Massachusetts which has developed an ultrahigh-resolution system that displays images as crisp as actual X-ray film. The system better allows physicians to make diagnoses based on a computer image, and not the film itself. Traditional computer displays simply do not offer sufficient image quality, and doctors will not accept these displays until they equal the quality of X-ray film according to Kevin Gonor, MegaScan vice president. Computer images offer several advantages over film.
