- Reports on the efforts of the Howard Stern Show to broadcast its radio program to the American public. Recognition of the pick-up of the program in nine alternative markets and its dropping from six due to indecency complaints from federal regulators; Agreement to pay fines to the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to settle the complaints; Claim by Stern of his struggle in a cultural war with the FCC; Decision to sue Clear Channel for banning the program based on Stern's criticism against U.S. President George W. Bush.
