Abstract
- Methods for stereolithographic printing of novel geometries and materials were investigated using 198Au doped commercially available resins. Test coupons were printed to find the specific activity and homogeneity of radionuclides throughout the medium. Initial trials of the technology were used to print pellets with 198Au specific activities with an average of 2.74 × 102 ± 2.9% Bq gā1 to 6.7 × 10ā1 ± 11.6% Bq gā1. Mixing qualities varied from 0.99 to 0.91. Geometric shapes were printed to probe the source-geometry sensitivity of the gamma detection apparatus. This manuscript serves as proof of concept for the technique. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
