Abstract

An efficient and simple protocol for Selectfluor‐mediated phosphonation of quinoxalin‐2(1H)‐ones with dialkyl H‐phosphonates has been developed under base and transition‐metal free conditions, affording the desired 3‐phosphorylated quinoxalin‐2(1H)‐ones in good to excellent yields. This method has the advatages of broad substrate scope, general functional groups compatibility, and mild reaction conditions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
