Son 10 Yılda Dünyada ve Türkiye'de Turizm (2008-2017).

The purpose of this study is to evaluate tourism in the world and Turkey between 2008 and 2017 with the number of tourists and tourism revenues. In this context, firstly the number of people participating in tourism in the world by years and the world's top tourism destinations are given to and then is mentioned the place of Turkey in world tourism. When the tables obtained from the tourism data generated by the World Tourism Organization are examined, it can be said that the number of people participating in tourism and the tourism revenues obtained in the world in general increase. Although the number of tourists to Turkey in the last decade succeeded in getting in the top ten in the world in tourism revenues in 2008 and ninth in 2009 and ranks tenth in 2010 and the last 7 years has unfortunately failed to be in the top ten.
