Calvin, Difficult Arguments, and Affective Responses: Providence as a Case Study in Method.

The article presents the views of Jean Calvin, protestant reformer and his arguments, responses related to sovereign divine providence. Topics include author's view about the way providence is presented in Calvin's textual illustration; and making connection between divine involvement and the generation of perception that affects attention, activity, thanksgiving, and joy.
