- Describes the steeltowns of Ashby, Whitney Pier and the North End of Sydney in Nova Scotia amidst living in the chemical waste site left by Sydney Steel Corp. Waste site's causing of cancer and respiratory diseases to residents; Number of steelworkers that have died in the mill and cook ovens; Welfare, workers' compensation and income assistance problems; Organization of residents to fight for their community.
