Results: All the data were analyzed using the SPSS package. Paired sample t-test analysis was done to find out significant differences between the two groups. All the tests were considered significant at P < 0.05 level. Sugar level of diabetes and non-diabetes was 96.55 ± 12.32 and 286.4 ± 53.71, respectively. Bicarbonate level of diabetes and non-diabetes was 25.02 ± 1.71 and 17.99 ± 2.47, respectively. The bicarbonate level was significantly reduced.
