VARICELLA PNEUMONIA IN AN IMMUNOCOMPETENT ADULT WITH INTERSTITIAL LUNG DISEASE (ILD) REQUIRING VENO-VENOUS EXTRACORPOREAL MEMBRANE OXYGENATION (VV-ECMO).

In this report, we present a case of primary VZV pneumonia causing severe acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) ultimately requiring veno-venous ECMO (VV-ECMO). Empiric antibiotics and acyclovir were started for presumed VZV pneumonia given the rash.
