Abstract
- To investigate the potential value of ultrasound examination and cerebroplacental ratio (CPR) at 35-37 weeks' gestation in the prediction of adverse perinatal outcome in non-small for gestational age (SGA) fetuses. This was a prospective study with singleton pregnancies who had routine ultrasound examination between 35-0 to 37-6 weeks' gestation including umbilical artery pulsatility index (UA PI) and middle cerebral artery pulsatility index (MCA PI) and CPR. The measurement of CPR at 35-37 weeks' gestation in non-SGA fetuses is not useful in the prediction of adverse perinatal outcome and emergency delivery for NRFS. [Extracted from the article]
