Abstract

The reverse transformation mechanism from martensite to austenite of cold-rolled medium manganese steels has been declared to change from diffusive to diffusionless when the heating rate increased to 15 °C·sāˆ’1. We argue here that it is a diffusive massive transformation when the heating rate is above 15 °C·sāˆ’1. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
