In the following it is argued that the problems of the group and the seeked supervision process are concentrated in the initial contact in the so-called scene. Whether and how the supervisor understands the scene and deals with it shapes the relationship dynamics of those involved, at least in the first few hours of the supervision process, and essentially decides on the establishment of a working alliance between the supervisees and the supervisor.
