Abstract

The composite film electrodes consisting of Dawson-type phosphomolybdate (IMou) and methylene blue (MER) were fabricated by layer-by-layer (LBL) assembled method. The film electrode was characterized by UV - Vis spectroscopy, TR spectroscopy ? X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results show that PvMol s and MER were well assembled into homogeneous and smooth composite films and growed evenly. Photovoltaic measurement of the film electrode conducted by the electrochemical workstation demonstrated that the Pv Mols / MEB composite film electrode exhibited higher photocurrent and power conversion efficiency (rj) than the MEB-only electrode. The incorporation of PvMo into MEB electrode enhanced photovoltaic performance of film electrode. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
