Considerazioni di natura bioetica sulle circoncisioni maschili.

Unfortunately on a regular basis the newspapers refer to "homemade" ritual circumcisions with fatal results. Despite the seriousness of the problem, in our country the path to an unprejudiced understanding of ritual circumcision, overcoming economic and political interests, is still long. Many and not easy to be solved, in fact, are the bioethical problems that this practice raises, especially in this historical period in which xenophobia has arisen, and not only in Italy. The author hopes that the bioethical reflections contained in the present article, a synthesis deriving from various papers and conferences, can contribute to better clarifying the terms of the question.
