Abstract

We aimed to examine the association between canine I AMY2B i copy number and obesity, as measured by the five-point body condition score (BCS) and body weight. We found no association of obesity with the I AMY2B i copy number (logistic regression BCS 3 vs. 4+5; I P i < 0.189) and no statistically significant differences in the number of copies across BCS groups (ANOVA, I P i < 0.215; Fig. a).
