EXODONTIA ATRAUMÁTICA E IMPLANTE IMEDIATO EM ÁREA ESTÉTICA: RELATO DE CASO.

The possibility of oral rehabilitation with dental implants has been showing significant progress in recent years. Osseointegrated implants can be surgically installed at various time phases after tooth extraction. The choice of time frame depends on structural, aesthetic and functional bone factors. The reason for choosing this procedure is due to the reduction of treatment time and cost. Objective of this study was to report a clinical case in which the first upper left premolar was extracted due to extensive coronary destruction, followed by immediate placement of dental implant in aesthetic area. The technique of immediate implant placement represents a potentially viable and quite advantageous option for the patient, provided that they are well indicated, planned, and carefully performed. It has success rates similar to those of conventional implants. In addition, it allows the preservation of the alveolar anatomy, maintains the height of the bony ridges, guides the angulation of implant installation and reduces the number of interventions.
