Jornalismo e diversidade étnico-cultural no contexto francês: uma análise das políticas de regulação do Conselho Superior de Audiovisual.

This paper analyzes the limitations that make difficult the minorities presence inside the French newspapers, especially those from a migratory origin. It's studied looking at the regulation public policies developed by CSA (Audiovisual Superior Council), which support ethnic and cultural diversity in the media. he methodology is based in a empirical analysis developed from two axes: the irst one approaches the journalist perception about ethnic and cultural diversity analyzing the Franco-American Foundation diversity activities. his Foundation creates international events about the media treatment when the immigration is the subject and it also created the "Immigration Journalism Award". he second one discuss the presence of immigrated journalists inside the newsrooms, using semi-structured interviews. hese professional experiences reveal the tension between the social media imagery and the policies that support diversity.
