Abstract

Vocational colleges are two-year institutions of higher education that teach intermediate staff today. In addition to the subject courses that the students have taken, their experience in entrepreneurship courses and where they have been practicing prepare them for life. Characteristics, talents, trends of entrepreneurs; They are closely related to the environment, family and education they live in. In the study; Whether the students who studying at the Technical Sciences Vocational School of Uludag University have entrepreneurial features and education to develop an entrepreneurial character has been examined to see how effective. In the questionnaire, participants were asked about gender, age, department of high school, monthly income, educational status of their families, entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial ability. With multiple regression analysis It has been found, the relationship between entrepreneurship potential and intrinsic control, desire for independence, risk taking and education. As a result of the analysis, there was a meaningful relationship between the entrepreneurship potential of the students and the tendency of the students to take risks, the sense of internal control, and entrepreneurship education, but no significant relationship was found between the entrepreneurial potential and the desire for independence. Entrepreneurship should be made more attractive, education should be more emphasized in exploiting entrepreneurial potential. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
