A MEDIAÇÃO DA INFORMAÇÃO COMO INSTRUMENTO PARA A CONSTRUÇÃO DE UMA HISTÓRIA REGIONAL.

It is a study that has as its subject the mediation and use of information, and its objective is to make available on the web images from the edition of the "OPharol" newspaper during its existence as a periodical and related to Rural Extension: education. For this research was done documentary and bibliographic analysis. Initially, the collection of the collection, digitalization of the editions of the newspaper and conversion in a digital format (PDF) with historiographical analysis from the period 1915 to 1935 first Republic and finally the bibliographic survey on aspects related to the subject such as: Information Science, Information, Museums, Memory, History and Rural Extension: in the present study we will demonstrate how the newspaper "O pharol" treated the Rural Extension in the region in the period in which it was in operation through its editions, making available through indexed images and information we deem most relevant to the construction of collective memory and local history.
