ANÁLISE DOS GASTOS PÚBLICOS NO TRATAMENTO DO CÂNCER EM MINAS GERAIS.

The health system is complex and costly for the management of municipalities. This article aims to understand how the public management seeks the balance of accounts in the provision of the service for the treatment of cancer. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of the relationship between expenditure and revenues in the public health area on the cancer mortality rate. To reach the results, the quantitative method of panel data with linear regression, with data between the years 2007 to 2014, was used. Among the main results it is noticed that the reduction of health expenditure raises the level of mortality by cancer in the municipalities. In this case, it is recommended that public management perform care networks to reduce costs and better care for cancer treatment. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
