Abstract
- As the book under review states, 'We set boundaries, we live with boundaries, we push boundaries and we challenge and break boundaries' (p. 9). Margaret A. Berg & Jingzi Huang's contribution is on the implications of an SFL-informed teacher development project for the instructional training of teachers and their performance, with a focus on academic language development beyond vocabulary. Despite the great potential of cross-boundary research shown by this volume, it should be noted that those who work in SFL still have a long way to go in this line of research.
