Electronic Structure Study of GdCu.

In this paper, we report the results of the room temperature X-ray diffraction and photo emission measurements performed on the rare earth inter-metallic GdCu compound. The near Fermi edge spectrum collected using He I and He II radiations are presented. Using the density of states calculations and considering the photo-ionization cross sections we identify the states contributing to the valence band and the Fermi level. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
