Ends of the Urth: The most remarkable SF work of the past fifty years.

A literary criticism of science fiction books by Gene Wolfe is presented. Topics include the journey of Severian in the books "The Shadow of the Torturer," and "The Book of the New Sun;" how "The Book of the New Sun" is set on a dying Earth, with Old Sun growing cold; her literature, terming it as one that could be read with pleasure by an educated reader; and "The Book of the New Sun" as work of a speculative fiction.
